Connecticut Prices. Should I Unload copper?

    Prices as of today.

    Car Bodies $200 gross ton

    Alum Wheels .75
    Brass Rad 1.40
    Insulated Wire .90
    Battery .28
    Clean Alum Mix .45
    BX steel Wire .35

    BB Copper wire 2.65

I have a pile of BB wire, #1 pipe, #2 pipe and Sheet Copper. I could use the $$ for another project but sure hate to see the prices jump up in another month. I have approx 200lbs. Should I sell or wait it out?

Well I unloaded everything except my BB wire.
    #1 pipe 2.70
    #2 Pipe 2.50
    Romex 1.50
    Insulated wire .90
    #2 LT Copper 2.70
#3 LT Copper 2.40 (This was roofing copper sheet)

I had 248Lb total for $604 I questioned them about the #3 but the price seemed ok and they said it's there # not standard #3.

I have about 100lbs BB wire that i'm saving for emergency fund.

How bad do you need the money? It happens all the time, you'll sell something and two days later the price jumps up 10 or 20 cents per lbs. You never know when the price is going to change.

I picked up a 2wd Toyota Tundra cheap. It needs a tranny so I was trying to come up with the $700 for it. It wasn't an emergency but I figure I can make $$ with the truck so if I had to sell the copper while the prices are down so be it.
