    eBay's at it again...

    Just a heads-up:

I received the Spring Seller's Update message from eBay. For regular members, the number of free BIN listings per month is going down to 20 from 50.

Here's the complete update newsletter: 2015 Spring Seller Update | eBay Seller Center

But theoretically you get unlimited free auction styles as long as the item sells. And is at least a 7 day auction

The auction thing interests me a bit. I hate auctions for some of my stuff, but I may for some of the stuff that I know will sell.

Every time eBay releases a Seller Update, it seems like they're moving more and more towards the larger sellers.

    Not a problem!

I can't keep up with eBay's changes, but I'm trying!

It is no big secret that eBay IS catering toward the larger sellers and having the smaller sellers "pay the way", as people keep joining eBay thinking it is EA$Y money when in fact it is some hard earned money in the long run most TIMES.

I don't bother selling on eBay as it is a hard road to travel and come out on top. When eBay first started it was known as the worlds largest garage sale. Now it's becoming much like the flea markets have with more and more cheap goods from China and other places that manufacture cheap throw away items and counterfeit items that many seem to want even if it's a cheap fake.

I would find the feedback from some buyers of counterfeit hand bags, sunglasses and such, of the great deal they got. Seems that some people want to believe that if you pretend that it's real it becomes real or something like that.

It seems to me that if someone is selling fake goods, faking good feedback would be no big deal to them.

With fakes if your neighbor can't tell the difference then why buy the real thing (for fashion it's just a label most times)?

Ebay is great for targeted small time sellers and large volume bulk sellers. It's the middle guys that get screwed. Super large companies like newegg love dumping closeouts on ebay so it serves that purpose well.

The way around this is a 7 dau auction with a buy it now button./ no charges for that and if someone wants it now, they can get it. Only bad thing is once there is bid, buy it now goes away. But auctions actually coming up higher ranking in ebays search algorithm than bins.....
