Was going to wait to post this but figure this is a good time now. I contacted e-waste solutions about a month ago when I rcvd a pm from Adam. Turns out they are located in my town. They are a father/son business here on long island. Spoke to them on the phone and paid a visit to see their operation and to discuss pricing. While their prices are bit lower than some of the other buyers here, the convienence for me and others that are in the area make up for that. What I mean is that to go to a buyer in NJ or CT means paying at least $20 in tolls ontop of the cost of gas. To ship out anything of substantial weight means shipping costs. I brought in a load to them about 3weeks ago. Total weight was around 300# of mobos,power supply's,hd's,floppy DVDs and finger cards. Got a nice pay out which I figured was about $50 less than if I would have shipped. Now figure shipping of around $35-$45 plus materials to box it all,I figure that I actually came out ahead by about $10. Plus I got paid in cash. To be honest I haven't taken in any ram or processors to them since I don't think that anyone can beat ewasteds pricing. Plus those items I can flat rate to ewasted thru the USPS. I am taking another load in to Kurt and Adam today and expect it to be another good experience. They have been knowledgable, curteous, and accommodating both times I have been to see them, they grade and weigh in front of you and their scale is accurate. Will let everyone know how it goes later today.

Just got back from the guys at e-waste solutions. Another great experience for me. I always walk away with a little more knowledge than when I get there. Learned a bit more about switches and telecom boards and what to look for in the future. Like I said in the above post...knowledgeable,curteous and accommodating. If anyone is in NYC or on Long Island I recommend you give them a call and pay them a visit. I am getting the milk crates and boxes ready for another load. Thanks again to Kurt and Adam.
