Is it unlawful to be found standing looking into a gaping dumpster having taken nothing?
Local Plain Clothes breezing up again,
We had a lot of heat round these parts after the usual derelicts threw out the entire contents all over the ground.

Seriously, it all depends on what the laws are where you come from.

Maybe they could get you for loitering, vagrancy, or trespassing depending on the circumstances ?

Maybe solicitation if you're wearing a micro mini skirt whilst bending over and looking into said dumpster ?

Indecent exposure if you're a fat hairy dude wearing a micro mini and a thong whilst bending over and looking into said dumpster ? ( Is is illegal for scrappers to have their junk hangin' out in most places.)

Every dumpster has a different vibe. Some are "chill" and some are "take what you want but dont make a mess" Or the "Theres nothing in there, we save the scrap for someone" and then the "Get out of here im calling the police" I stay away from the cop caller ones.
