Is it silver or stainless

I got this platter at a garage sale. I have looked up the name on the back and can not find anything. So i am hoping you guys and gals can help me find out what it is made of. It is non magnetic.

It is silver plated. If it was silver it would be marked .925 or sterling unless really old it would have tax stamps and makers marks on it.

Is it silver plate over copper?

Not sure if it is over copper. It does have some deep gouges in it and looks silver. How thick would the plating be?

I found another item with the same company for about $15. I figured for $5 I wasnt losing much.

It looks kinda old, a collectors item on e-bay maybe???
