    Woops

Wow what a fool I am. I meet this fine chick at the bar last night.
I spent well over a hundred bucks on the wine and dine gig. Had a great time but I forgot to get her name and phone number.

    Talk about a poor investment!

Both sound like my ex-wife. Still paying emotionally (through the "grown" kids) 31 years after the divorce.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Lol, thats where my parents met and they are celebrating 50 years next month!

Joe, if you met her there once you might catch up with her there again. Though, I can imagine the opening salvo, ''Hello, I spent all my money on you last week and whats your name BTW?'' and her thinking, ''Ruh roh, if the guy can't remember my name you know what they say is the next thing to go how do I get out of this nicely?''

Well it seems I did get lucky even if I did not get lucky. Talked to the bar tender and he knows the chick.
Ends up she is a crack head. Seems to be a lost cause trying to hook up anymore.

It's called "Dodged a bullet". According to my son, online seems to be the place to meet people anymore.

LOL, for me it was married women rather than addicts. I quit going to the bars years ago but that seemed to be the usual problem for me. The last time was so bizarre that I had rethink going to them at all.

She was a couple of years younger than me. Went to the same high school. I knew who she was, but never recalled talking to her more than once or twice. She sat down next to me at the bar and called me by name. I couldn't remember hers. My friend was sitting on the other side of her at the bar, so he heard everything. She didn't seem drunk, but boy, you should have heard the things that came out of her mouth. What she would do to me if I came home with her. My friend was sitting there with his mouth wide open in disbelief. I was too. I had noticed that she was with a guy when she came in, and he was off shooting pool, oh, at least 20 feet away. It was like she didn't even care. In the end she was like "so, are you going to come home with me tonight?" I was curious at this point. I asked, "who is that?" "Oh, that's my husband. But I can ditch him. We may have to go to your place," she replied. I decided it was best to leave while she was away from the bar for a moment.

I mentioned it to another friend who knew her. "Oh yeah, She's crazy." He continued, "been arrested a couple of times and sent to the nut house."

I met my current wife at a keg party shortly after high school. We are in the middle of a divorce. Thank god we still get along so there is no fighting over possessions and both of us are so broke there is no money in the bank to be had. ( the wife sees metal as garbage so I have actually gained nearly a grand in scrap from stuff she is throwing away!!)

From now on I am going to meet my girls sober. I rarely drink now and cannot stand drunk girls. Most that I have met while drinking have either been nuttier than a fruitcake or friends have told me how many dudes she has taken home and how many STD's she has!! No thank you!

Easy to love drunk girls. Hard to love them long time

I ran into one the other night that I knew many years ago from my drinking days. She told me that she had cut out the middleman and became a bartender.
