    What would you pay?

    Current Auction
    "Approximately 378 Pounds of #1 Insulated Copper Wire and #2 Copper with Aluminum Mix"
    So what would you pay?
    Only picture can not tell how much Alum in there.

    Thats alot of #1 ins. What would be #2 Cu with alum mix??

    I would go HERE and introduce myself. Then I would read as much as possible of the old threads. Then I would find out what my yard is paying for #1 and #2 insulated copper, do some math, and make an educated guess as to what I should pay.

    I have been reading post here for so long did not relise this was my first post.
    I know the price paid for #1 & $2 and Alum wire. What I do not know is what the mix is. So I was wondering what other people would guess mix at.

    I'd guess 90% to be safe and offer to buy as all aluminum.

    I buy almost all my scrap from auctions and these auctions never go cheap.....You will have to step up with the big boys to get something like this......I don't even fool with stuff like this......I go for the old computers and electronics which I can get cheap and make a good profit on

    I guess I'll go home....LOL naw I just stick to the escrap auctions because I can get the stuff dirt cheap....(Copper, Steel, Etc. Still going for near scrap value or above)

    Sold for $385 about $1.02 a pound. Not me though
