Catalytic Converters in Northern VA

Hey all, first post here so go easy on me!

I have about a dozen or so catalytic converters form turbo subarus that I would like to sell. The years range from '02 to '11. The one yard I went to only offered me $60 for each pipe that I have, and each pipe contains 2 cats--seems really low.



Any advice for where to sell these locally? I called a place in MD that I've heard gives pretty good prices but they said that I needed to have a license to sell them...what gives? I may still stop by there in person to see what they do if I actually show up with product...
