Snagged a 1992 Chevy Astro van on Friday. It ran.. but not very well. During it's gutting process I cut out the gauge cluster to get to the harness in the dash.. looked at the milage... 307,000+ Miles.. Good ol Chevy baby!

No Kidding, For being 21+ years old, she really didn't look too bad honestly--- but filthy on the inside is putting it mildly!!

If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

I had one with 200K+ but I killed because I failed to add oil, minor oil leak and a long drive. They were very well built vans. Mike.
"Profit begins when you buy NOT when you sell." {quote passed down to me from a wise man}
Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
Mike- This van had virtually no oil in it, and the coolant was nothing but water.. When I got to the guys house- he had it jumped and running. The exhaust was gone from the cat back, and even though it sputtered- the dang thing just kept on running. It was tired, when I showed up the van whispered to me in a creeky voice "Young man.. have you come to take me on my last ride?" I patted his bumper and said "Yes old fella.. I'll gently send you back to the great manufacturer in the sky"
HA!
Saw a truck at the auction this weekend with over 300,000 miles and I said it has a lot of miles. Another guy hears me and says its only 300000 really? Thats not alot?
300 isnt alot for a diesel but a gas it is lol.
300K is really impressive. Those Chevy 4.3s run forever with just a little maintenance. Im a Ford guy but you cant deny the 90s GM V6 and large V8. I use to own a 92 Pontiac Trans Sport (The Dust Buster) with the 3.1 V6. No exhaust, started MOST of the time, no power steering, windows worked sometimes, and the oil pump worked when it felt like it. **** thing died with over 280,000 miles on it.
Sledge, I zoomed in but it just got blurry, is that an awd behind the safari, guys down here use the chassis to rebuild old jeeps
Edit sorry behind the astro
