Thanks for your honesty. It helps me get an idea of how I can improve. As far as an artist... Outside of school growing up I have never had art classes, but if I look at a picture I can draw it. Every now and then it is just fun to do. Here is the picture that inspired me to draw that one:

Maybe it's just me, but how can you all be so CALM when there was still more to go back for? You mentioned you do ebay and the yard sale thing as well, someone could have grabbed the remaining of the profits before you got back!! Out here you have to get it when you see it or it's gone!!

This specific trash pile was literally right around the corner from where we live. In addition, all that was left was trash bags full of stuff, which not all scrappers will stop for.

We have been there though where we arrived at a trash pile the same time other scrappers were there. pretty much came down to who can grab what first!! LOL We lost out on a really nice Shop Vac that day!

Gotcha!! I got lucky and hit a clean out 2 days ago, I was sitting there waiting for the cleanout crew to leave Filled my truck from top to bottom & front to back. Had to call my mom to bring her truck because I would never have been able to haul it all. It was less than a minute from my house BUT soon as I dumped my stuff and headed back out (which was quick as I could move) someone else was already tearing through what bags I left. I LOVE picking!!!!

I love picking, I've furnished half the house this way, and the extra $$ it brings at times doesn't hurt.

Some of the stuff in the trash bags were on the counter top that we showed. You gotta love it!!! Trash Picking is fun when you do not get the bug infested piles.. LOL Seriously give Kenny and I One Month of not have to worry about our own bills and an empty house. We will have it completely furnished!!! LMAO!!
