Long weekend, wife and kids are away for a day...Nailed it!

So I've had some projects in the back of my mind for a while, this one being a couple of years after I snagged some mounting springs from a big gen set. My biggest issue with making a knife is that A. They're absolutely useless and B. I HATE working with wood, and handles...But seeing as I have a new method involving fire, melting metal, and cursing, thought I'd revive it.

Here's the rough forging - took longer than I thought to align the blades. Just started working on the handle today - hoping it turns out presentable!

Okay ... the wife and kids are gone and you're off the leash for a day.

Dude, we've gotta have a talk.

No way Bro. You're gettin' way too domesticated !

You gotta let the wild man out to play once in awhile.

You know ... get drunk & run nekkid through the woods whilest screaming at the top of your lungs like a banshee under the full of the moon.

    Nothin' too serious.

Ok, what about today's "Wife and kids are gone" adventure? Got it back together and burnt out my new set of MTs :| Also found out that there's a certain point after you bury the speedo where it doesn't go back down apparently.
