    Canadian here

Hi all, I joined a little while ago when the forum was just getting off the ground... Now it seems to have EXPLODED with lots of users and good information...

I am 36 years old and I live in Kamloops BC. I have been doing this more or less since I was 16... used to go to the municipal dump and scrounge before everyone got "safety happy"

I have a place I scrounge where I have been given permission... people dump anything from air conditioners to lawnmowers to whatever you can think of.... There is also a rural dump where I know the attendant... and he lets me scrounge too.. he is an older guy and does scrapping, but only what he doesn't want.....

of course i keep an eye on craigslist too

Mainly i am looking for ideas to strip wire..... all different gauges

    Hello, I'm from Montreal Quebec

I also was checking for a tripping machines, but some are so expensive, you need to have industrial quantities before you get back your money,I'm tempted to try this inexpensive manual machine, which seems to have good reviews,The shipping (standard) is also free to canada,

I was thinking about that... this is the one I was thinking about getting:

    http://www.striptec.com/a

They were on ebay, but haven't seen it for a bit... I think it was around 300 with shipping.... would take a bit of wire to get it back, but would be worth it....
