    Payment by mail in Michigan

For commonly commonly stolen items: catalytic converters, air conditioners and copper wiring. The delay doesn't change my spending plans, but taking the check to a bank is an extra trip, and the mailing expense by the yard is a bite out of scrap prices.

Most major banks have phone Apps that you can deposit a check via a picture, No need to go to the bank to do a deposit.
I have no fix for the mailing expenses being passed on to the customer sorry.
I'm going to recycle the world.

I hate checks but I know when I get them I have made over $50 which is our cash limit here lol but going to the bank has become a doggie run since I get a sucker and my dog gets a biscuit she likes it and I like the hot tellers to flirt with lol

I was depositing a scrap check a few years back and was talking with the teller. Seems her father was into it and e scrap a well. She was the person who told me to look into computers for scrap.
    Google first ask questions later!

Metro Detroit. I was mailed a voucher, not a check, so that was a longer trip back to the scrapyard instead of a local bank. The return trips will affect which yard I choose for copper. Starting a commercial account sounds like being a business with paperwork and commercial fees. That's more than I want to put into scrapping.
