I just got into a pallet of tool batteries. Several diffrent types. This will be a fairly steady source so I want to find the highest buyer before I move the first pallet.

I've been looking for someone to buy the same type of batteries, no luck yet. Some are lith-ion and some are Ni-Cd. If you find anybody to buy them please post it for us.
I just mix them in with my sealed lead batterys ,,,, I dont get enough to seperate and collect,,,,;;;;
call up your local interstate battery dealer they pay .25/lb but I'm not sure what batteries it is limited to.
Here is Arcoa's price, Chicago isn't too far with a pallet load.; Lithium Ion Batteries $1.75

I don't thing they buy the power tool batteries, I'll try and call them tomorrow.
You could always take a crash course on rebuilding them and sell them as reconditioned.
Lol ya Joe that is an option. We have a local buyer but they are doing the same thing as they do on ele scrap and pay.05 lb. I have found a few places on the net paying for them but I ain't shipping a pallet of them out with shipping rules as they are. I noticed in the pix I took of them there are a bunch of laptop and a few cell phone bars as well. Chicago isint out of the question as long as I can work the prices out before leaving the house.
Maybe this'll help,Chicago isn't out of the question as long as I can work the prices out before leaving the house.

We buy Li-ion and Ni-cd and Ni-MH as seen on our buying list on the SMF If you have batteries you are looking to sell give me a call or e-mail.
Do you buy them in the casings or do they have to be removed?
Dealer prices I pay delivered properly packaged are as follows: Li-Ion laptop/cellphone only $1.90/lb, li-Ion from other applications 25¢/lb, NiCd dry 40¢/lb, NiCd wet 15¢/lb, Nife 15¢/lb, NiMH dry $1/lb, Absolyte 20¢/lb, Silver Oxide 2.1 x spot. Hybrid Li-Ion and NiMH batteries vary so pics and model numbers are needed for quoting these. Properly packaged means segregated by type. All exposed terminals need to be taped off or batteries bagged. All broken cased batteries need to be bagged. Please do not remove them from any cases. Lithium primary batteries are accepted for a disposal fee. These can be very flammable if improperly packaged. Alkaline accepted for free disposal. 701-361-5821 Jim
