    Laptop Lot UPDATE

Over the past week and a half iv been working here and there at gettin these laptops processed. Iv delt with all the "complete" ones and a few of the half ripped apart laptops. About half of the lot has been processed.

Every single one had been opened buy the guy I bought em off. Some missing RAM, video cards, almost all missing the HD. The guy was a liar. Said a whole pile where complete unopened.. None the less, im happy. I should make out ok on this lot. Have a guy that will buy the HDs per piece as he usues them as "memory sticks" lol

One of the pics is 4 or 5 of the many badass OMG ITS GOLD boards iv found. Also, if anyone has any idea what to do with the busted LCD screens please chime in!

Heres a link to the pics. I post with the phone app and it wont let me up load more than one pic.

Edit: had to post the link as a video cause every time I try and copy/paste the link into the text field it crashes the app... let me know if anyone has any issues!

I think I'm going to try to sell the plastic sheets as arts/crafts, unless I can find a buyer for the LCD glass itself, or complete screens removed from the plastic... I took the boards

I'm still trying to avoid eBay...

That long board in one of my pics is from a shattered lcd screen. Nice bit of gold on em! If I can find a buyer for just the screens I probably have a few dozen I can get rid of.

I personally don't think it's worth it to take apart laptops. If you break one down I'm confident you will find the same. You can easily pull the hard drive, memory, and processor (battery if you want) then get .85 for the rest (incomplete laptop). If it has resale value, I fix it or sell it. If not, pull the memory and move on. Unless you are going to use ebay for the parts, I don't see any reason to take them apart, just no money in it.

Iv got 3/4 of it done and I have 35lbs of motherboards, a few pounds of alum frame pieces, a few pounds of clean copper from the heat sinks (only cleaned half a dozen so far) so I still have a few dozen to clean. And a bunch of saweeet OMG gold boards iv found. Not to mention the ram and cpus.

I enjoy the time to myself while cleaning them so I do it.

there are 2 types of the touch pads. Some have a copper coloring which are the mid grade.

Others are the gold trimmed which i never would accept mid grade for. The very least i would take would be telecom

depends on the laptop. I tore down 50 Lenovo's and they ended up being about 29# total. You do the math.
