Latest haul - All telecom

Well im back at it after a brief hiatus (new job, personal life, etc)

Got this latest load for $100 bucks total.

60lbs of telecom, a box of random (OLD, maybe telecom? + sat receiver) Boards and 13lbs of motherboards.

In the box of old boards are tons of old Commodore boards that the guy CUT the gold? fingers off. Cut something anyways. Too bad. Managed to find a few that may be salvaged...

An actually I know a few Canadians in the real world, an their awesome people. I give them way more crap then I give you guys on here. They give it right back to, just like ya'll.

Really nice score tho with those telecom boards. All that gold. You better have an "OMG IT"S GOLD!™" bucket on stand by for it! Or I'll double the jokes.

Good to know!!! Anyine have a rough guess as to what I SHOULD be getting for these? Im thinking for the most part I should be getting atleast around what our buyers are offering. But what about the nice gold ones? Iv tried searchin but havent been able to find much. Or am I just blind..? Lol

Those gold topped eproms i remember a price of 100-140# when gold was up around 1600toz. I think it was Barrenrealms who had a price for those.

Well, brought all my telecom stuff in. Didnt sell a single pound. They gave me Motherboard price for the gold plated/finger boards and 0.07# for the rest of the telecom. Not too impressed... time to find another yard for my ewaste.

You need to ship to a buyer on this board. I have a fairly good buyer near me but he is real low on anything other them Motherboards, so I ship most of mine and make a lot more.

Its a bit more difficult for me to ship large amounts being north of the border, but will definitely look into it.

Nice score! You should do well with those telecom boards. A month ago I got $4.00 per lb for similar boards, WITHOUT the gold cap ceramic chips.
You need to save up a bigger load and just take to EDI. They are not far from you.

Yeah I think im going to from now on. May take a year for me to save enough to sell to them but I think im done with the one yard I deal with. After they offered me 0.07# for my average telecom stuff and 1.50# for the gold cap stuff, kinda turned me off from them. I just wish EDI would give me pricing so I know how much to buy material for. They dont reply to my emails or return calls... If I can get decent pricing from EDI I may be able to compete with the yards pricing, cause its really low arond here.... (I bet thats who they sell to) Being small and having almost no overhead makes it easyer to buy.
