    Cheap Box Fans

I started off the summer with 7 of the cheap box fans you get at Walmart for around $12 I had picked up on trash days in the Spring. I've sold 4 of them for about $3 or $4 each and kept the rest. I'm not getting rich but $3 is better than $1 I'd make after beaking it down with those tiny motors they have in them now days. Also, all the fans we use around the house are free!

If they work, I use them around my workbench. Otherwise, I take the back off, pop the motor out (and slam it to the ground to break off the blades), then stuff it full of anything big enough to not fall out. When it's full, I screw the back piece on, and presto, I've got a convenient way to carry a bunch of those odds-and-ends that are always piling up on the floor. Also, this increases load density in my van.
