How much do you think its worth

alright i got to chance to get 2 riding lawnmowers, a cast iron tranny, a transfer case, and possibly a body to a truck. the guy wants $100 for it all. what would the riding lawn mowers go under as? i heard #2 but just thought id check. and anyone have a guess on the weight? let me know what you guys think

I'd guess the riders at 4-500 pounds each; The transmission at 3-400 pounds; The transfer case at 150 pounds and the truck body (8' pickup?) at 100 pounds. So, about 1350 to 1650 pounds. I'd say $100 is high. If you take them in "as is", you'll get Light Iron for the riders and truck body at least. Maybe #1 Iron for the transmission and transfer.

edit: I've taken mowers (push and riders) to OneSteel in Oakland. Went as Light Iron.

Thanks mick. id for sure strip the lawn mowers down to get top dollar if im going to pay for them. maybe even try to get them to work and sell them outright. maybe ill offer him $75 or so and see what he says
