Same as a Mitsubishi Eclipse...DSM tuners like the all wheel drive, turbos. My son parted one out that had become a money pit for about 2 grand. Here's what was left before sending it to the scrap yard.

Took about 2 weeks but he had some guys around town that knew his car and were standing in line when he started taking it apart. There are some forums for dsm tuners that guys bought parts on as well.

well i checked it out the other weekend, and what a hunk of junk! non turbo, fwd, beat to hel!. I guess the motor and tranny are bad and its been sitting 7 years. I was actually going to buy it off my other brother and part it out, but i quickly changed my mind when i saw it. Now about salvaging it.... believe it or not i still think its too good for scrap. How do they pay? by weight or by car? also can i take out the good stuff (cat, rads, rims)?

I would say the next best thing to parting it out would be to take out the good stuff that pays more then steel price then take the steel down. Try to convince who your getting it from that it's a pile of junk and that YOUR doing them a favor by taking it off their hands. Cheap is good, free is better!

Better yet - charge them $100 to clean up their junk.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Around here I couldn't charge anyone. They would just go to the next person in a long line of Craigslist ads.
