its been a while since ive been on been super busy but heres our newest toy got it about a month ago

It drives like a bus so you gotta take the turns wide, I like my dovetail better for positioning, but the winch is hands down better than ou 8000 on our trailer, I've yet to make it grunt even a little. 350 four barrel auto trans runs and drives good

If the motor is all original, that is probably about as top of the line workhorse you will ever find, as it was made just prior to our first big gas crunch(1973), but still probably gets better mileage than some of the newer SUVs, Hummers, etc.
Auto tranny is best for heavy loads anyway, as it chooses the best shift speeds/RPMs. Do you have any idea what kind of maintenance the tranny has had? If not, it's a real easy life-saver to pull the 9 or 11 bolt pan and drop the oil, go back with a new filter and some fresh fluid.(one of the most overlooked preventative maintenance procedures, and most costly)

Fluid looks good at the stick, we gotta have a maint day soon, fluids in all the trucks and several welding jobs on trailers I've been putting off. Need to rewire three trailers right now, seems like we are always behind

That is a fine rig you got there. My suggestion would be to turn it into a rolling billboard with your company info all over it.

One of the best ways that my company gets referrals is from our name and number on all of our roll off containers. We have people calling from all over the state saying they saw they saw one of our containers and that is how they got our number. If you look at our competitors containers they have little to no signage.

Cory did you get anymore broncos or ford trucks in?

nah thats when you get lucky, im still learning everyday, but your normal scrap car is an average of 15years old and around here is usually a gm or ford product followed by chrysler and we get the least in foriegn cars, trucks are around 1 in 10 overall. we have a bronco body to pick up at a wrecker service but its hammered i just glanced at it the other day when we done a pick up i cant imagine it being worth anything more than scrap

If you're in town much, around taller buildings and such (anything 2 floors up), don't forget a decal on top of your truck too ; )
