    89 corolla

I have a guy at work who has 89 corolla. It does run. Ive seen it run. He is asking 300. Would I be able to make money off scrapping it? I'm thinking about trying to sell it first on craigslist. And also probaly gonna offer 250. Also he says it will need a starter and ignition soon. What do you guys think? Id really like to get it I may even keep it for a while.

weighs about 2200 at 7 per hundred where I am thats $154 there is a little more to be made from the cat. and al. but if I was buying for scrap I'd off maybe 100 bucks, if you can part it out you can make a lot more but if you get it someone on CL would probably give 500 for there first car no guarantees

That old, the cat may be burned out, so don't count on that to make some profit.
