    Cleaned out my late uncles shed and garage and lookie this old tool set

    I had never heard of this brand before - Shelton. This kit is so dang cute!! I love how the allen wrench and all the tool pieces have the little ball thingy that recesses so you can use it to put the sockets on and use it in the offset position. It hardly looks used at all!

    Wow that's old school, remember my dad had one like that when I was a kid, been a long since I seen one complete like that. Cool pic

    That is cool NA. Where was it made, have you googled for info? I think it may be an early "everything in a kit" rendition. The photos look like late 50s/early 60s

    I'll bet its worth some decent money to some of the car nut guys that have 30-40 cars in their "garage". Can you say Ebay???

    ^^yes, its a tape measure. I looked up Shelton and they made more than one type of kit - this one is considered a ''household'' kit.

    The company was in Connecticut and I believe this kit was manufactured in the 50's
