I've seen a few millionaire buyers disappear. Few around 2008. Usually they are owner operators who hire a management team or person that feel they can sit back and now spend some $$. It happens fast. Lol.
Also many mid level guys are getting advances from buyers. So if your selling when the loads are being shipped or loaded. That advance $$ has been put out and you better go cash that check.
A tl of copper may cost your yard 100k to buy. Plus all thr other stuff on the table. Easy to run out of $$. Getting lines of credit are hard to secure from banks. This stinks. Im sometimes stuck turning away people because my $$ is tied up. On a load that you didn't get paid on or some other reason. Most large corporations hve lines of credit to cover this. Not I or many others. This is what makes me and many of thr top paying guys pay so much. When I'm building a load I want to do it ASAP flip it and do it again.
Even if you only have 2k a day. Spend it all sell it and do that 5 times a week. Boom you just did 10k in sales. That's half million a year folks. Yyyyyyeeeeeesssss 500,000 big ones.
Now what made off it is another story. Short selling is not the way to make $$ but you sure can build your sales then refine your business model to meet your needs then set higher goals.
What other business in the world can you wake up and make a half million in sales with 2k a day and a little truck!!!
I'm serious. Drug dealing maybe. Or other shady businesses.
Start spending 10k a day. Oh my good now your pulling in 5 million a year. This folks gets Dor and Feds on ur ass fast. Then they see a large truck and what. A
pallet jack. Lol
Love this business and scrapfourms!!!
