    scrap loft

Ifirst time really doing anything with wood, it was really fun

    first this bike rack

    then this loft

aside from three new 2x4's and a 2x8. most the matierials came from just scrap i saw laying around over the course of a couple days, haha
i still need to install a banister from the oakland unified school district covered in all the youngsters musings, haha. its going to rest on the 2x4s hanging off. i found it while checking out a ledge that looked nice to skate in front of a school omw to a superbowl party.
those long timbers came from a huge pallet a couple blocks down my street
    collecting san joses scrap

    story time
so my buddy tells me there is going to be a bmx jam at a skatepark around here
at this park there is this one hip ramp that flows with the park, but if you wanted to, you could haul ass across the park and jump out of it catching an ungodly amount of air... but end up going no where.
so i told them i was going to build a giant landing ramp we could set up at the jam and hual it in.
****, thats a lot of lumber i commited myself to aquiring/buying
im lazy/cheap, im not going to do this, w.e
..well maybe ill keep my eye out for a couple 6x8 pallets and see if i can come up with anything
well two nights before the jam i stroll through my nieghborhood industrial area to grab a lil bit of firewood to burn at the beach...
and where i spot my burn wood i also spot, this gimoungous pallet, what the hell kind of truck did this fit on??

ahhhhhhh i should grab this, i really should...."im late for a date, ill get it in the morning"
that night i went to sleep thinking about that pallet...
"darn it, now I HAVE TO spend $50 on plywood alone to cover this thing"
didnt get back in my truck till late the next day and first thing i do is rush the half mile down to the pallet when i spot this 1/4mi from my house

    oh! ive been blessed!
I cant wait to see how i load this all in my truck!
I rush a minute over to the pallet spot and its being sawed to pieces...
i guess i know where my firewood came from.
tbh, it was a great fire

ill build that landing one day.

hmmm, cant edit out a bad word
