Cool find, Vintage compressor

Cleaned out a bunch of stuff from a coworkers house that's moving. Got a lot of really old stuff. It was her moms house and she's pushing 60 and lived there her whole life. Any small appliances I got still had the old cloth cords. Got some sunbeam kitchen equipment and a couple cool small trinkets. I love finding the really old stuff. Especially when it still works. This gem was in the mix.

Appears to be an old air compressor, possibly homemade. Not high volume but still puts out little putt putt poofs of air. I may be young but I've found enough old stuff that I can still say they don't make things like they used to. Lol.

Old appliances are always cool to find and some can be worth some cash to collectors, but the thing that really caught my eye was how you said his mother was "pushing" 60, like that is old or something. Man, I think I may be in trouble...

Well, for clarification, the coworker is pushing 60 and was born and raised in the house. So some stuff is from before she was born. Guess my description made more sense in my head that typed out. Lol. Compared to my ripe old age of 28, 60 is getting there. But if you're still scrapping, more power to you. I only hope I can still be doing it then. There's already days I look at my truck as I tighten my straps and wonder how I got all that in there without pulling something. Lol.
