Hello everyone,
I just listed a wood burning stove because fall is coming and winter will be right behind it. You might be wondering why does someone from California have a wood stove? I just seem to acquire things I just cant help it. Its a long shot but maybe someone on the forum could use it, I would lower the price for a forum member. What do you think of the pricing and item? I like the item. I know nothing in regards to pricing it tho. I'm assuming their a big name going by the price on it, an your close ups of the name.
You have no item description. Did you mean for that? If so disregard. I'd add one tho if it was me. When I sold through my site, an on eBay I didn't assume my customers would know everything about an item already. If there is some kind of history to the name, then include that maybe? Cause me..I'd think it was an expensive fire place.Like buying a Rolex an not knowing the difference between it an a Timex. Then again you could be aiming for one who knows a lot about these items, an if so..again..disregard.
Either way I like the item an my only complaint is no description.

I compared the pricing to other Jotul stoves on ebay and it is around there plus, I added the make an offer option because people love to get deals. About $750 for the "cheaper" one up to $2500 for a new one. The $750 one is in the back of a pickup truck like they just loaded it up and still has a bunch of watchers actually all of the Jotul stoves have lots of watchers. I think it is a company from Norway. But, I am the same as you, I know nothing about these things except what I learned recently. Ill will probably ad some more info later, thanks for the advice.

well as a stove, I feel your about right with your price. maybe a little on the high side, but that's where you want to be... but I am unfamiliar with costs of jotul stoves, someone more knowledgeable might be able to say more accurately if your price is to high/ low on this type
New stove runs around $1,200 lot varying on capacity. yours is like new, not the smallest capacity, the door seal is barley singed, and very clean.
Edit I should also say 7/10 homes in my area are heated with wood, so used stoves are common. $500 usually gets someone serious enough to come move the beasts.

I'm somewhat familiar with the Jotuls. It's okay as a stove but the biggest thing it's going for it is the snob appeal. They've done a really good job of marketing to the high end customer over the last 25 years.
It's like the Volvo or the Lexus of the wood stove world.
Price it accordingly.

Just got another email from a guy that was interested in the stove and said that he would pay $850 no problem and will buy it on sat. I get the feeling I could of got $1000 for it if I marketed it right but, I am completely satisfied with selling it for $860
