Getting Edited for Advertising

Can someone please help me out here?

I am a fairly savvy computer user, but I'm finding it confusing on this site.

I paid for a membership, but had my Introduce Yourself post edited for adveriting immediately. Isn't that the point of this site? Isn't that why we pay to be a member? Please help me understand how this whole thing works.

The introductions section of the forum is to introduce yourself to the forum members, NOT to advertise.

Advertising is limited ONLY to the Buyers/Sellers section of the forum. Paid members can advertise to buy or sell with members/guests ONLY in this area, not everywhere.

If you want to post an advertisement, post it here, Scrap Buyers & Sellers.
