For a while there was an issue causing certain email notifications not to go out.
These emails included specifically private message notifications, thread subscription notifications, and a few others.
The issue has been resolved. Some of you may get a few (or many) notifications coming in over the next few hours as the system is now processing the emails that weren't sent.
Sorry for the inconvenience to anyone effected by this. Email notifications should be going out again as normal now.

OK my phone is still blowing up. Is it possible to clear the system to start fresh from new posts instead of catching up for stuff weeks old?

What happened was a scheduled task cron job went missing when we upgraded the forum (strange, but any major upgrade runs the risk of weird things happening for no apparent reason), which left all the emails that were supposed to go out, in a queue but were never actually triggered to actually go out. Once the missing scheduled task was identified as the cause and restored it, it automatically processed the queue of unsent emails immediately. I would have assumed they would have cleared from the queue automatically anyway since they weren't sent out for so long, but apparently that wasn't the case.

This is why you should read the forums before you ask a question. I checked my e-mail tonight and had four PM notices but when I logged on to the forum I had no PM's. I was going to ask why this happened but now my question has been answered. Thanks Admin.

Are they delayed consistently or just occasionally?

There were 2 total each a day apart and one was a duplicate, the next one was just old.
Did not happen today, so will pay more attention if it does happen again.
