A way to ignore a thread..perhaps?

As the title says...

Is there a way to ignore a thread<s>? I like to make use of the what's new tab, so of course everything comes up. I find myself with no interest in certain threads, is there a way to ignore them so when I click what's new they don't pop up?

I have no need to ignore any posters, I just want to ignore threads if I so desire. Sure others would like this option also. Maybe not..I dunno! STOP QUIZZING ME!

In order to have this feature added, I've enclosed a secret weapon.



One can't say no to a baby goat/sheep thing, without feeling guilty for eternity. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Unfortunately though there is no way that I am currently aware of to hide certain posts. I just checked some of the setting and didn't see anything, but I will mention it to admin and see if he has any ideas.

The function you are looking for is currently not working. I had set it to ignore all threads containing cute and cuddly 4 legged baby animals, and yet your post still came through. Back to R&D this goes...

Veal is calf, not goat.

I've shot my share of young deer that are 5-6 months old in Nov. early Dec. (and no, they don't have spots by then) I prefer not do even as guys say, "hey, the meat's the tenderest". Well, that might be but its also only about half as much as a year and half year old deer or older. Luckily, we usually have multiple tags so if things are slim for whatever reason and a young one gets in the way, at least a guy has a little meat.

One year, I had double antelope tags and had managed to get a smaller buck out of a herd earlier in the day. Walking back to the truck, I saw 2 bedded down in an alfalfa field looking at me straight on. Now, I should have thought things through more and tried to scale them better but I didn't and shot one straight one through the neck and it barely twitched. I walked up on it and it was a kid (that's what they call pronghorn young ones because they are sort of goat-like). Well, antelope aren't the biggest things anyway and this thing was all of maybe 40 lbs. I could have compounded my impatientness and been an illegal jerk and stashed this massive critter between a couple of hay bales but I didn't and used up my second tag. I think I got a whopping 9 lbs. of boneless meat off of it.

So, no, I prefer meat off of larger animals...
