Best bet is to use a site like Photobucket or another and use that to hold your photo's. Whole lot easier.

how do u get pic on made from scrap
Mech makes it sound easy, cause it really is. As he said, pick one, sign up. Upload your pictures, with photobucket, I think it is, they have a nifty feature to share. Just copy the forum one, an paste to your post. Easy as 1 2 5..err..3..
Good luck!

I always forget about attachments, cause I like seeing the picture pop up.
Thanks Admin for the reminder!

Sooo.... How can I post pic/vid w/ IPhone? Doesn't seem to copy paste?? Maybe I need to update?
Step 1. Sell Iphone
Step 2. Buy a droid
Step 3. Post with no issues.
Step 4. Send me beverages as a thank you.
Step 5. Disregard all this an read the prior posts.
Sirscrapalot - I eat Apple for breakfast.
I have droid I haven't figure out how to post pic yet.
Not sure how or if you can from the app.
I email myself the pic, then use a picture hosting site(photobucket, imageshack, imgr, etc)
You can also do it as an attachment if you don't want to use a host site. To do that scroll up a few an read the post from Admin, as he explains it rather nicely. Not sure if any of this works for Iphone users as I don't use one.
Good luck, even to the Iphone user.

There is no "go advanced" option that shows up when i try to create a thread in the Metal Casting forum. Every time i try to post a picture from my computer i get "My image exceeds the size allowed". As another user pointed out 200 bytes is extremely small. Since i'm a new member i'm not allowed to post links so photobucket and the like are not available. So at this point i can't post any images.
When you use Photobucket you hit the direct link (for the picture) and it'll come up and say "copied" then come here and hit the little picture frame looking icon and it'll ask for a url address. Thats when you hit paste and it'll post the pic. right in your posting.Since i'm a new member i'm not allowed to post links so photobucket and the like are not available. So at this point i can't post any images.
That is how I posted the pic's in my thread just the other day.

i have been attaching pics and it works fine but now it seems ive reached the limit of pics stored.
how do i delete/empty the cache of pics so i can upload more?
Thanks for the video. Testing to see if I still have a minimum # of posts required.
I can't post pictures. My account doesn't have the proper permissions. Please help
I still think it takes you having made a few posts before you can add photos. Go to the intro section and post a introduction of yourself. Include what you want but its nice to learn a little about you and what brought you here.
After that read some threads and make comments on ones in which you have something to contribute of even a question. I would tell you have many it takes but I don't recall hopefully someone else will be able to provide the accurate info.
I would expect the required number of posts to be 10 or less. 73, Mike
