How do you determine membership levels?

Seriously...One of the levels should be "Picture Posting Proficient". And that would be when you can actually get a photo that someone can look at (not just a link) in your post.

How is it determined is someone is a "Junior Member", "Scrap Metal Entrepreneur", or any of the other levels I seed under peoples' names?

Thanks for asking the question. I don't really care what membership level it shows below my name, but it was really bugging me that I hadn't seen the option to change this.

Reputation, gained by being an active member of the forum, posting threads, getting thanked. You can give reputation to members using the 'green star'.

Some members, only the most active, can give negative reputation. The amount of reputation one gets from another member, depends on how much reputation that member has.
