Seriously...One of the levels should be "Picture Posting Proficient". And that would be when you can actually get a photo that someone can look at (not just a link) in your post.

Thanks for asking the question. I don't really care what membership level it shows below my name, but it was really bugging me that I hadn't seen the option to change this.

I vote Mech's changed to "Heckler of Hoss's Bits". Nobody new will understand, but they will..when they read THE POST.

Sirscrapalot - would like his title to be "Keeper of the traveling cooler", I only send bribes in the form of Liquor.

So what does it mean that it now reads "Sticky" before this thread?

"Sticky" means that this thread will stay on top of this forum, even as new threads get added.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

    What option?

PS - KZBell, would you like to volunteer to become the first official member of the SMF picture posting police?

All you need to do, is when someone says, 'how do i post a picture here', or posts a link instead of an actual image, give them this link, http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/smf-s...rum-video.html

How do you post videos for people who can't watch them? I really just wish some would learn how to post pics! (who needs a 6mb of a telephone plug?, which is usually blurry anyway ; )

Whenever I notice one I will be happy to insert the link Admin.

M688 has been very helpful with this in the past...I'd be more like his deputy.

admin. In this "sticky" It would be nice if you would describe the green bars for everyone too. And the reputation star. while were talking about rank and what not.

Reputation, gained by being an active member of the forum, posting threads, getting thanked. You can give reputation to members using the 'green star'.

Some members, only the most active, can give negative reputation. The amount of reputation one gets from another member, depends on how much reputation that member has.
