Changing from red to green background

Ok either I drank too much last night or I need glasses. I know that we could change the background color from red to green and did change it when it was first avail, but today I logged on and it was back to red. Is this option still avail or was it removed because I can't find it here anymore?:confused:

Yes we've disabled the option for the time being. The style switcher may have been causing some issues behind the scenes, so for a few days we're going to do some testing without the style switcher and see if it makes a difference.

Sorry about that, I like the green too and I'm not using that style for the time being either. We'll work it out, hopefully it won't be long before the option is back for you.

I miss my green too. I thought I got downgraded when I went on a couple days ago (not sure how I could get lower, but if anyone can, it would be me).

What I really want is blue though. Hint, hint.

I nice forest or fern green would be good. The red is pretty garish IMO.

Whenever I visit the forums from a another computer I've not used before, I get the red. I think I'm in trouble when I see the red, musta been all those red marks back in school. Ha ha!

Green is awesome, I wouldn;'t object to more colors tho, an more smiles! focus on the color thing tho...I can find smiley faces anywhere!

The red is now not as bright, been meaning to adjust that for a while now. The green could probably use a little help too.

Sirscrapalot, the red style always gets the new improvements first (the badges of honor box and user info boxes, in this case), because I always forget that I have to make the same adjustments to the green .

Seeing this thread actually reminded me to make it happen for the secondary style too.

Digging the change to the top to where the PM box is. So much easier to see it now vs the old style.

Go to settings at the top right corner, or visit your profile(same location to visit profile) click general settings scroll down, should see a section for changing forum skin.

Should be there.

Hey, that's a good point. Since this is a recycling kinda crowd, shouldn't green be the default color around here?

Anyway, I went green about 2 weeks after I joined, as soon as I found the option. So much easier on the eyes.

Now if we could just get better-looking smileys. The ones we have all look a little evil IMHO.
