I don't think so, but would have to look. I got it from the office I used to work at. It was old, still running but we only used it for spreadsheets and the like. It didn't take long to kick it into a corner and go for something newer. I shudder to think of having to deal with
eBay....I'm with Sir Scrap on that topic!!
I remember that "eastern European" voice very well. When our younger son was just learning to talk, he was driving his mom nuts by repeatedly asking about what printed words were saying, pointing to something, and saying, "what does that say?"
We had a kids software program that allowed the to type in a word and have the computer say it, in that same east European accent. We showed them how to use it to make up silly little stories about their stuffed rabbits and the like. Anyway, Chris wanted to know what the words on the car said. Mom said "I'm busy". So he took a pencil and paper, painstakingly copied the letters and took the paper to the computer and typed them in so he could hear what they said. (Toyota) This connection between the letters and using the computer voice to say them was made by a child just old enough to have barely begun walking, long before he was old enough for preschool!! We were floored!
It sure hammered home to us: the usefulness of a computer to the young mind!
Now he's taking electrical engineering and telling me that I should be using my smartphone more and kicking my laptop out of the way!
Jon.
