Are Phone pics helpful to anyone?

I was wondering if pics of business phones and the boards inside are helpful to anyone. I've seen threads in the past where members asked if they were worth scrapping or not. Some are and some are not. Sell them if you can. In the past I've posted pics showing before and after and also model numbers so they can be found using the search feature. Two weeks ago I received a call from a contact and ended up with 6 pallets of telecom equipment which was about 1/3rd phones. If yall think it would helpful and contribute to the forum, I can post some pics on another thread I have.

Any breakdown with pics is always helpful. I know that resale on pnones that are at least VoiP capable are worth it to resell. Most others are not especially if you have large quantities. Check the handsets, you may find some lead in there.

This will be a general list by manufacture of the phones I repair. Have been repairing Business phones starting in 1994. Because of the amount of plastic and time I will not buy any phone to scrap.
All LCD boards are good but most are very small.
    Intertel: Good boards
Comdial: Good [some of the Executech key boards are gold plated, tracings and contact grids on both sides]
Toshiba: Most low grade [Most EKTXXXX are low grade DKT 20XX low grade DKT 30XX Good]
Nortel: Good but a lot of the boards are very small [around 2" X 3"] and use a Mylar for the keyboard.
    Panasonic: Most are low grade
    NEC: most are good
    AT&T, AVAYA: Good boards
    Vodavi: Most are good
Executone: Most are good [CX and Equity are low grade]
Macrotell: I can check but as I remember most are low grade.

    KSU/Control unit boards
    Almost all are Telecom grade
Avaya definity cards: Almost all will be Telecom grade [you may have to remove small transformers] and weigh slightly over 1lb each [$4 - $7 each as scrap at this time]

My girlfriend gets irritated when watching TV and I tell her what make and model phone they are using. Also show me a board from most manufactures above and I can tell you what it is, sometimes the exact model number.

I notice the phones also. What about the phones in movies from the 70's and early 80's.

Never worked on a 25 pair phone [each phone had 50 wires going to it], or any single line phone, only business phones using a KSU. The Intertell ESP phones was 4 pair.

Yes phone breakdowns would be helpful. As BC said, any Breakdown with photos is helpful.

I can take four posts an tell you all you need to know in written form..but photos help a lot. Let's people put items with names. Like phone telecom boards vs regular, or whatever. ( it was an example, so if you nit pick the term your being silly, I just threw it there)

Maybe not helpful to someone who can just tell you everything about one when watching tv but would be to those of us who don't always deal with some super duper phone, an only house an cell phones.

I would find it useful an interesting but..I'm one of many so..do as you wish.
