Got a lot of 5 of these puppies the other day...basically a steal...but not a lot of info out there on this model, no idea what they may be worth. Any ideas? don't want to just crack one open to look at the boards....but I'm tempted!

Have you done a search on ebay and the internet in general? No information I can see in the photos that might assist you.
Only someone who has lots of experience with this model would feel comfortable giving any estimate.
More info and/or clear close ups of the manufacture's label. Mike

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
yeah I've been running in circles with these babies...ebay gave me a cut and paste from old manufacturer literature...nothing else seems to be out there...I emailed manufacturer to try and dig up more info. I'm gonna resize pics and upload better details...they ones I have don't want to upload.....

Yup that's my listing...I'm content for now to park 'em at a fairly profitable price for me, with an offer option that gives some wiggle to the deal. Thanks for taking a look around for me Mike - seems you saw all the same stuff i did, which wasn't much. Hoping to hear back from a company rep on Monday...told him in a email exactly where I was, what I had, and could they shed some light on use, re-purposing opportunities, and ballpark value. I got them for a song, so while it might take time, I can't miss here! Jonniebrass, I just might open one up - love to see the board, and guts and stuff! I'll keep you guys posted - thanks for the input!
Well I had to do it, opened one of the units up. Here is what the results are:
4.2 pounds of high grade aluminum (I would get @ @.45/lb for this, but it's good stuff so it will go in the smelting pile if I decide to scrap
these units out.)
4.8 oz. of high-grade telecom boards (at least I'm guessing they are high end boards - correct me if I'm wrong) I would have to get pricing
from one of the members here.
Mitsubishi amplifier module RA60H1317M - possible resale value of @$40.00 or so.
Misc. other parts on this board show some value - couple of bucks here and there, need to make some inquiries to see who might be
interested.
There are quite a few Ta caps on here, 2 or 3 pretty big ceramic ones. Also saw a few Palladium caps, tiny amount but they will eventually
add up.
I am waiting on a response from IPMobileNet Mobile Data Radio Systems; they might be able to provide some more insight on value, uses, re-purposing opportunities, etc. I go some pics and edited them so they would upload...check them out! Even with the price of gold in the ****ter, I still LOVE to see sparkly gold on a freshly pulled board! I would love to know what the small gold squares are...labeled with a small "m" in a circle, small "t", capital "PC", 3 legs each side.
