Keypads on older cells

    Keypads on older cells

    I was tearing down some old phones today and I ripped of the old keypads on phones that had keyboards and physical buttons. There was a white plastic film with what looks like silver contacts that the buttons put to make contact with the board. Are these little contacts silver?

    I think they are a Stainless Steel disc with a very thin flashing of Silver plating on them.
    Not enough Silver on them to make it worth it as far as I know.
