Money is not the root of all evil, the love of money is.
66,357,800 lbs. material recovered for reuse thru take back initiatives in 2015
steel 23,101,000 lbs.
plastics 13,422,360 lbs.
aluminum 4,518,200 lbs.
copper 2,953,360 lbs.
cobalt 189,554 lbs.
zinc 130,036 lbs.
lead 44,080 lbs.
nickel 39,672 lbs.
silver 6,612 lbs.
tin 4,408 lbs.
gold 2,204 lbs.
lol I recovered about 35ozs last year so it was a close lol
Its the future, one day you will not actually even own the item you buy, you will just 'rent it' until its out of date or its guarantee finishes.
Then you 'get' a new one.
And all the metals inside will stay on the firms (ie, apples) books and you will have to pay if they don't get it back.
Outrageous numbers. That's all I have to say about that.
Food for thought. Is it the impressive amount of gold or worse yet...how many broken iphones there were lol.
WI ITAD LLC, IT Liquidation Services, we remarket, buy and sell scrap electronics No customer too large or small!
They said how much they recovered/made from scrap, but no mention on how much they spent to get it. My return numbers usually look good too until I subtract what I spent getting it and how many hours I put in. I'm sure they at least broke even though.. lol
