    Old telephone wire

It's everywhere. The phone company or my landlords never bothered to remove it and as far as I know none of it is in use. I ripped a bunch off the roof that was attached to a pole just leaning against the she's and cut it from another seemingly useless telephone pole. Any value in it. I'm in Phoenix.

You would be surprised at how much old telephone wire is still being used. I hope at least one end of the wire had already been cut.

This isn't going to age well.

What could possibly go wrong here?

Vandalism or theft charges? Shocked or worse electrocuted? Causing a fire?

Sounds obvious that this is neither your wire or your property.

I don't think there is much copper in this wire anyway

Yea test it with a strong magnet. Likely it is copper plated steel wire. Move on to more productive activities.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
