    Scale recommendations please

What are you guys using for scales? I seem to break the cheapy eBay/Amazon ones the first time I put any weight on them even though they are rated for 76 pounds.

Someone has to have something that goes low enough for e-scrap, but high enough for car batteries.

I bought a Weighmax 2822. Here is a link from amazon for the one I got.
Amazon.com: Weighmax 2822-75LB postal shipping scale, Battery and AC Adapter Included: Office Products

If you search scales you can find a lot of posts of people talking about their different kinds of scales. I read through those until I decided on this one and it has done all I ask for it. If you want a bigger one there are lots of other recommendation and model numbers in those threads.

Why not just use two different scales? I use a small digital scale for most things, but I wanted to be able to weigh large items too. So, I bought a hanging scale from Amazon. They're right around $20, and rated at 440lbs. Here's the one I got: http://www.amazon.com/Do-All-Outdoor...d=2EAE1F7Y6CMG.

I use the same scale as 688 and it has served me well.
