    next project 1984 Chevy 3/4

    Being ill have more free time due to the low prices gonna start on my project.adding dual exhaust, edelbrock carb, fix rear brakes, headache rack, brake controller, bigger 4 core radiator, aluminu tool box, and led brakelights. Pics cooming soon

    Next step 80/20 bench seat sourced from 1995 Chevy pickup, brake controller, and trailer plug. More pics next week

    That carb might end up being a gas hog. I had a "big block" 454 and the stock carb was terrible so I got a carb adaptor and added a Pontiac 2 bbl off of their big block, and the throats were big enough to power it but it had 2 bbl economy. Course the headers thru 2 glass packs didn't hurt.

    I've heard that before but I've had good luck with edelbrock carbs. The stock q jet was leakin fuel out of the throttle shafts and boiling fuel on the intake manifold so it had to go. The guy who run the yard I go to pulled it off a wheat truck some onebought in, doesn't look that old and doubt it got much use so I'd call it a score. Still cheaper than even rebuilding the quadra junk.

    I've used that carb before on a 350 that was in a '73 K2500 and worked great especially after adding the Edelbrock Performer intake. Finally cured the vapor lock problem I chased around for years.
