Nice tools Geiser093! Id love to have the Dewalt 18volt kit. I really need a cordless
God is great, scrap is good, and people are crazy
Its better to be scrapping and thinking of God than sitting in church thinking of scrapping
Lowes will have them on sale so watch for them. They go on sale for $199.99 and include the drill, impact gun, sawzall, and flashlight, 2 batteries and charger.
Go to post office and get a change of address form. Inside that form will be a 10% off coupon, saving you another $20!
Heads up Home Depot will also honor the lowes coupon.
After that just hit ebay for the rest of the tools, grinder, circ saw, etc. All bare tools about a hundred each new.....
off topic a little, but i pick up most of my tools at auctions, there is one here that has home depot returns every week and pallet auctions every two weeks. you can get dewalt milwaukee, rigid, makita all name brand tools at a fraction of new(and some of these still are new) , anyway im sure most of you have these in your area it just may take some searching to find them. i picked up all these milwaukee tools for a little over 400 at the individual auction, also picked up the air comprssor at a pallet auction plus the wheel barrow in the back with another wheelbarrow and a bunch of tools on a separate pallet. anyway thought it might be a way to save some money
edit, ive got the same kobalt socket set they were on sale a few weeks back for 29.99 i got two of them and was very suprised went back and got the 1/4 set for 19.99

What search terms did you use to find the Home Depot auction? I'm coming up empty.
Thanks
Paul
Thanks again Geiser093. Just at Fleet Farm today and the sawsall 1 drill 2 batteries and charger were $200
ive been going to them for a while my brother got me started, but any auction company can get them they get a inventory list on a truck and place a bid, then they get the whole truck. probably the easiest way is to goto a local auction and just ask, the ones here are all tied together, the same auctioneer is at all 3 places i goto
You could also check out Find Live & Online Auctions for Antiques, Art, Cars & More at AuctionZip.com they have a very good list of upcoming auctions in all areas. Thanks for the heads up I am going to check it out.
I love the red tools as much as the black and gold. Sexy pile of stuff you got there.
My neighbor is a scrapper too. He and I are always at the tailgate of each others truck checking out the newest finds. I found a wine cooler in the trash and brought it home. He owned an appliance shop selling used appliances. It worked so I gave it to him. THEN a few days later someone had him haul out some stuff and he gave me a bucket of 18v Dewalt drills.
He and I are thinking about getting a building and buying a wire granulator and opening up to purchase e-scrap from the public. He wants to get back into the used appliances and we saw a perfect building.

I LIKE IT! I LIKE IT ALOT!!!!!
I'd come run that for a day for free, heck I may even pay for the diesel, as a stop on my vacation if I was coming that way. You'd would just have to agree to let Marcus Jr. take a turn on my lap. LOL...
How about wire stripping? I tried the wood block with a screw in it that I saw in "Extension Cord Blues" thread, with no luck. I'm looking into the other thing from that thread with some interest, but have concerns about the fact that works on the same principle, and I am worried about how often I will have to change blades. The other one I looked at also works on the same principle, from TNTTooling.com, (the WSA tool, at the bottom of the page) but once again, same worries. Any suggestions, thanks.
