    What Gloves Do You Like?

For winter scrapping I thought of mechanics' gloves, but I didn't like the clumsy fingertips for the price. I found rubber grip garden gloves in a grocery store, for a fourth of the cost of mechanics' gloves. Now I have the grip I need to pick up scrap in cold weather, and I can worry less about shocks in tv teardowns.

I go with something like this. The insulated winter ones are great too. There are a lot of different brands nowadays. I think the orginal was called gorilla gloves.

I like latex gloves dipped in extra virgin olive oil, just feels so sensual all over my body, perfect after a hard days scrapping.

That's interesting. I don't like latex very much. They make my hands smell all day and when I take them off, there is a gallon of sweat in each one of em. they make good water baloons though.

I use cheap ropers gloves from Harbor Freight. Roping Gloves I don't wear gloves for e-waste though.

I also have some of the black ones that Russell has except mine don't have as thick of a coating and they are the ones they wear at GM.

I bought these from Harbor Freight: Split Leather Work Glove

By the way, gardening gloves will not give much, if any, protection from getting shocked while working on a TV.

I hate latex gloves, my hands sweat in them and they last about half a day if youre lucky. I like the ones with the leather palms, I cant recall the name but I get 3 pairs at Home Depot for 10.00

Bare handed most the time or my cheap a$$ has been using these for as long as I can remember. Bulk price at Harbor Freight is about a buck a piece.

those ARE great gloves KZ and I'll use them to move stuff but they are too thick/stiff when I'm breaking down, I end up having to take them off I can't hold tools with them very well.
