We are having an issue with our weigh bridge. It is not a raised bridge because our yard is too small, so it collects a LOT of water and dirt, etc, through out the day. We have a pump to extract as much as possible, but it's not enough. I believe the sitting water is starting to affect the sensors as it is now taking a long time for the scale to "settle down" on a particular number.
Our facilities guy has recommended we dig a trough and a big hole away from the bridge so that the water runs into the hole and then we suck it our with a bigger, stronger pump. I wanted to know if anyone else has tried this method of relieving water from their weigh bridge and if so, how did it go?
Just wanted to get some feedback before digging a hole in our yard.
