    Made Some Tools

I embraced my inner caveman and decided to make myself some tools.

I had some old name tags with some strong button magnets on them.

The one on the left is made from a piece of steel scrap and a strip from the back of the name tag.

The one on the right is an old exacto knife handle with two of the button magnets from the other name tag strip. I took the two magnets off of the name tag. Then, I attached the first magnet to the handle with some JB Weld. The second magnet was attached to the first magnet with some Loctite. It is good for testing scrap with little magnetism, or finding hidden steel in non-magnetic scrap.

Now hit'em with some florescent paint so they don't end up in the scrap pile.

That is a great idea considering that I got both of those handles out of my scrap pile.
