    Any Brilliant Ideas for Quickly Breaking Down Bales of Wire into Manageable Chunks?

    Just curious if any of you pro scrappers have found a good, efficient way of breaking apart bales of wire. Doing so by hand takes a good bit of forever.

    Got a great way of doing this;

    1)You send bales to me - all you have to do is pay shipping
    2)I will send you all the plastic back - You pay shipping
    3) I promise i will get rid of that nasty copper for you free of charge!!!!!!!!!
    This will save you all the problems,wasted time and labour...

    What i would do is pick up the bale with a fork lift,bring the bale to the mouth or shoot of the machine,cut a couple of bands open and let the wire fall into the machine,that is asumming you are feeding a granulator.no more picking up its works like a charm.
