Just to let you know I was at Home Depot 2 days ago picking up so stuff and saw small Torx driver set it was around $6. The smallest I had was T5 and I have some laptop drives that the T5 was to big?? So I am hopping the T4 fits.

The star heads with the little nub in the center, You can pop that nub off with a flat head and a hammer.

I just went to autozone and bought a cheap set of the security star bits for 7.99. Was cheaper then my local Homedepot, and my local Ace and Lowes don't carry the security ones. Makes getting into sat/cable boxes so much easier...!

This is what I use. 9.00 at harbor freight, can't beat it. It has Hex, Hollow Hex, Pozi, Torx, Hollow-tip Torx, Square, Spline Fasteners, Phillips And Slotted.

While they aren't high grade like a craftsman set would be, I lose the tips before they break (the wife and kids often like to help out). I often buy specialty tools from HF. If I need a tool that I don't used every day it's a great place to find a cheap tool but keep in mind you get what you pay for.

I buy most of my tools from HF. The problem with a set like the one in the post above (whitch I have one) is that I only use 2 or 3 bits and the rest just sit in the case. Another problem I have with HF torx pits is if you don't seat the bit in the screw right the tip of the bit will brake off. Like the post above says "you get what you pay for".

You can also hit these a few times with a hacksaw blade, and use a slotted screwdriver on them.

I bought them same husky one at home depot also. Had for a year, I also use them in my cordless drill driver to break down hard drives.

Same here, star bits work great but when dealing with Philips I gotta press down real hard to prevent stripping. I almost never get to use a micro phillips bit in a cordless because it'll strip on me everytime!
