I've been in a vehicle(drove motorcycles up till then)45 years, and except for one or two in my early days which I payed on terms, have always bought used(Everybody drives a used vehicle ; ) and payed cash, usually buying what was the best fit I could find each time.
The last one I bought, in 06, I came up with a great little Ranger 4.0 5 spd manual, 3/4 Ton 4X4 Extended cab LWB with tow package and AC
It was the first time, that as I daily watched the new ads(gotta beat the dealers there ; ) I looked only under the lists for Ford F150 and Ranger sections, because I knew that was what I wanted.

I drive a 1980 ford ranger f100 with a 300 straight 6. The first car i bought when I was 16 yo was a 1960 ford falcon with the same moter. Easyest moter to work on, everything is right where you can reach it without haveing to take everything apart.

Could always photoshop SMF on the truck's pic too
I remember my brother's old '83 F150 4x4 stepside shortbox with the 3.0 inline 6and 4 spd std, ...it was a very nice truck, lots of torque.
