Found this...not sure if it's the same.
Trailer Manufacturer Voorhees, NJ - Jersey Trailer Manufacturing
Kz, nice setup, should serve you very well.
just so ya know you need to make a cover for that winch if you haven't already i have a badlands winch like that on my old car trailer and after it got rained on ONCE (like a week after i bought it) it started acting quirky, now it acts like a bad starter motor every once in a while; and you have to tap the side of the case with trigger pulled to get it to start spinning. i guess they aren't as weather tight as my old warn winch was.
however they seem to pull very well i know i have overloaded mine on more than one occasion and it just keeps working

You know that you can use a semi mudflap as a flexable cover or also non-breakable fenders for a trailer. And being heavy rubber they will last almost forever.

ilovejunk: Yeah Sadly HF doesn't sell winch covers for their winches either. Odd story.. I bought a 9,000 lb Badlands.. had buyers remorse, took it back before I used it after further digging online.. But when I was in the store buying the winch I asked one of the guys for where their winch covers were- He looked at me as if I asked where the "Left Handed Smoke shifters are?"

I'm using a rubber backed outdoor carpet to cover now but plan on finding something more permanent when I move the battery.

mech: i have a tool box on the tongue of the trailer that the winch and battery are in now. i just wanted to give kz a heads up since those winches are marketed for off road use which would imply they are more weather tight than they actually seem to be.

Hijack in progress...Every two years our suburb has a Spring Clean Up and it was two years ago that I got started scrapping. Tomorrow starts the first of three weeks so people were kicking it to the curb today and they did a great job...6 van loads collected with surprisingly little competition. All hail Cinco De Mayo.![]()
