- Scored on an inverter!
Went to a Harbor Freight sidewalk sale today and found a 3000watt continous/6000watt surge inverter that was marked down to 160.00. I grabbed the manager and asked if because it was next to the 50% off table would he consider dealing on it. He said he didn't have time to haggle about it so he marked 80.00 on it and said take it or leave it. Now I just have to figure out where to mount it!

After buying some tools from them, never again. Ever heard of a battery life of a 1/2 hour? Not one but all 3! Good thing they're cheap. IMO stick to brands you know, and trust.

Why wouldn't you of just by one of their portable generators?
I saw it on Joe's table today. Don't think he hooked it up yet. If I am looking at the same model on HF's site, it retails for $300. I'd be curious to know what kind of use Joe gets out of it.

Yep, got all the units apart. Now I need to unbury the plasma cutter and cut the compressors.
