    hitachi cordless drill shell/housing

ds 14dvfs 14.4v cordless driver drill

I was using my roommates drill
then my other roommate pushes it off the back of my truck
the frame cracks around the bottom of the grip and now the contacts wont hold to the battery
at least not without a ziptie there.

any idea how i can go about getting a new frame? maybe buy a broken drill at the flea market?
are drills easy to fix? i really am a noobie at fixing things since i grew up in a throw-away-when-broken culture

    ideas?

me and the roomie are each giving him 25$ towards him buying a new drill since he didnt like this one. and im going to keep this one and all the parts. i needed a drill anyways.
